How is a DNA test performed?
Why is an ultraviolet light bulb always useful at the scene of a crime?
How does technology help detect a crime and what does a 3d... scanner?
These are just some of the questions that scientists are asked to answer in the show. A researcher is found dead under peculiar circumstances... Was it a murder or a lab accident? The fascinating performance of the Science Reactors team will open at "Iphigenia" Hall at the "THEATRON" of the Cultural Center "Hellenic Cosmos" from 10/3 and during all Saturdays of March and promises you a night full of mystery, humor and scientific... paradoxes!
The “Crime in the laboratory” is a performance that, in the usual approach of the Science Reactors team, invites us to see the science...in “a different way”! To discover it in our everyday life, to combine it with art and to accompany it with original music. All these elements are given with humor by young scientists.
"All participants are scientists, this is the basic condition for anyone who participates. And that usually surprises the audience, everyone thinks they're going to watch an amateur show, due to the fact that the participants are amateur actors and professional scientists. However, it is an extremely meticulous, professional work, with music written exclusively for the performance, under the guidance of a professional director, Kostas Brettos, "says Mrs. Eleni Grammatikopoulou, the group leader.
The science and the important role of research behind our favorite police series are revealed and invite us to an evening of humor and mystery. “Crime in the laboratory” and... the show begins!
