Visitors' record in 2017 for the National Archaeological Museum!

2017 was very creative for the National Archaeological Museum: It implemented a rich program, such as the popular periodical exhibition "Odyssey" (extended until March 24, 2018) and accompanying events, promoted more than a hundred international research programs, participated in ancient art exhibitions in Europe, America and Asia, temporarily lent 403 antiquities and brought the message of Greek culture to the whole planet by conceding 315 international publishing, photo-shooting and cinematography permits. As a result 2017 was a record year for the Museum, as the number of visitors exceeded half a million (545,565), showing an annual increase of 18.4% and a five-year increase of 22, 9%.
